Information for School Based Therapy
To book a school-based therapy session:
- Therapists to send an email to sirdavidbrand.therapy@education.wa.edu.au with the name of the student they wish to see and the proposed date/times of visit or block of visits
- Our admin team will reply to your email with the relevant teacher’s email address who will accept or propose a new date/time
- Once the date/time is confirmed between therapist and teacher, therapists are required to fill in the School Based Therapy Overview proforma and return it to us via email
- Our admin team will send out calendar invites for the confirmed visits
School-based sessions need to be renewed on a term-by-term basis by completing a new proforma and emailing it to our admin team.
Before attending a school visit, Therapists are required to provide digital copies of the following documentation:
- Working with Children Check
- Criminal Record Clearance
- Qualification Certificate
These requirements are in accordance with the Education Department’s Policies in Public Schools.
